Pressure travels.
It moves downward when it cannot be absorbed upward. It spreads laterally when it cannot be resolved centrally. It settles where resistance is lowest.
Managers often inherit pressure they did not generate. That inheritance does not make its transmission neutral.
Passing pressure on unchanged is a choice, even when it feels automatic.
Responsibility here lies not in eliminating pressure, but in deciding where and how it lands.
Unfiltered pressure multiplies harm.
Attended pressure can be shaped.
